Who we are

Sora Studios is a trading name of Studio Sora Ltd ("we", "us"), a photography and content studio at 19 Tully Business Park, Springbank Way, Belfast BT17 0EZ. Studio Sora Ltd is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at hello@sorastudios.uk.

What we collect

• Booking details: your name, email address, phone number, the session you book and any notes you give us.
• Payment details: payments are processed securely by Stripe. Stripe securely stores your card details so we can take payment for bookings, memberships and any other charges agreed in our policies.
• Newsletter sign-ups: your first name and email address if you join the Sora list.
• Messages: anything you send us by email or social media.
• Website data: basic information about how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technology.

How we use it

• To take and manage your bookings and memberships, including confirmations and reminders. We need this to provide the service you have asked for.
• To send you news, offers and last-minute availability, only if you have signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• To answer your questions and look after you as a customer.
• To understand how our website is used and improve it, which is in our legitimate interests.
• To keep financial records and meet our legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We share it only with the trusted services that help us run the studio: Acuity Scheduling (bookings), Stripe (payments), Klaviyo (email), Webflow (website hosting) and Zapier (connecting our tools). Some of these providers store data outside the UK; where they do, they use recognised safeguards to protect it.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and payment records for up to six years so we can meet tax and accounting requirements. We keep your newsletter details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Other enquiries are kept only as long as we need them.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies that it needs to work, plus cookies from Klaviyo that help us recognise newsletter subscribers and decide when to show our sign-up form. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of your information, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. Email hello@sorastudios.uk and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
